National Removal Service was established in 1982, after buying out
the local removal firm of Blackmore`s Removals.
Based in Ilfracombe,
N.Devon, and now established as the largest removal company in
Ilfracombe, Combe Martin, and the surrounding area, we pride
ourselves as being one of the leading North Devon companies. Our trained and uniformed staff
offers an efficient and competent service.
As well as local and
national domestic removals, we have also moved many local
businesses, such as hospitals, photographers, solicitors,
accountants and estate agents.
Some of our more unusual removals involved moving numerous
horse-drawn antique carts for restoration, and several vehicles,
including a T20 tractor, an A30 motorcar, and also an ABC motorbike
and sidecar to Sotherbys auction rooms for a client.
Although we are a
national company, and do not take removals overseas, we do move
people to all parts of the British Isles, having visited the
Shetland Islands three times, and moved people to the Isle of
Man.
We have secure
storage facilities should any of our customers find that they are
temporarily `between properties`!
Our prices are
very competitive, and do not contain any hidden extras. such as V.A.T.
and insurance, as our quoted price includes everything. Flat-pack boxes, tape and
white packing paper are available, free of charge, to all our
customers. Strong metal
hanging rails are brought on the day of removal, to carry the
clothes hanging in your wardrobes. These rails are covered with
a nylon slip during transportation. We aim to make your removal as
straightforward as possible, and to ensure that, whether you are
moving to, from or within the South West peninsular, everything goes
as smoothly as possible.
